Min. Melissa Wade-Cutler is a native of North Carolina, where she was born and raised. She is the wife of Darryl and the mother of two beautiful children, daughter Darius and son Matthew. She attended the University of Carolina in Chapel Hill where she received her B.A. in Communications. She began her radio career at WFXC in 1991 where she was a Morning Show sidekick and news personality. She has also worked with WQOK in Raleigh and WAMO in Pittsburgh, PA as a morning show co-host.
Currently you can hear Melissa Monday – Friday as producer of The Erica Campbell Show and live 10am – 12 noon on The Light 103.9, where she is widely known as Melissa “Wade in the Water.” You can often find Melissa out in the community speaking at different events or even walking for some of her favorite causes.
Melissa also has a love for the stage and has performed in various plays, and musicals such as: “Watch Night, ”The First Lady,” “Not in this House.”. Melissa also has directed her own stage plays under her business umbrella “Wade In The Water, LLC.” Her works include “Sunday Morning,” “Wednesday Night Prayer Service,” “The Trial of Jesus,” and “Did You Crucify Jesus:” The Play. She has also directed for others: “The Marriage,” “The Beautiful Exchange Musical,” “Lord Who Am I”, “Church Folks,” “Butterfly Wings” and more…. She has stage managed the “Paneh Mime Conference” from 2009- 2017.” In 2018 her company kicked off their 1st Annual Youth Performing Arts Mini Camp.
Melissa is an Elder at Kingdom Community International in Bahama, NC, where she oversees the Arts department which includes: dance, step, mime, flag and a drama department.
Kesha Mangum Graham
Kesha Mangum Graham has been acting for 25 years and her love for acting has landed her in numerous plays throughout North Carolina. She is scheduled to perform at the Starr Theater in “My Way” in June. She has also has performed as Nettie in the Color Purple. She performed in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Black Nativity, The Wizard of Oz, One More Chance, West Side Story, A Chorus Line and many more! Kesha is excited to bring her experience and love for acting to help other young people develop their own skills.

De’Costo Lawson is a native of Durham, NC and attended Durham Public Schools. He currently works as an Interventionist in an elementary setting and runs an At-Risk Mentoring Program for all youth. His passion is to educate children and impact their lives to their fullest potential through positive interactions. As an interventionist De’Costo teaches social skills within a small group setting. He promotes positive behavior through character trait lessons and holds school wide positive behaviors celebrations and classroom dance parties. De’Cosoto Lawson has an AA degree in biblical studies and is currently seeking his BA in Theological Biblical Studies. He found a passion in theater arts through the puppet ministry at his church. This gave him another outlet to impact children and adults through the theatre ministry. Through his membership at Praise and Deliverance Kingdom Community International Church, he found his footing as an actor. His love for acting began 10 years ago in a comical skit that later landed him more prominent roles through KCI’s drama guild. In his spare time De’Costo enjoys mentoring, coaching, riding bikes, swimming, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
For 12 years she served as the performing Arts director for Victorious Praise Fellowship in Durham, NC. With an active participant in the arts ministry she served as the lead playwriter with plays such as “No more drama” with a guest appearance from Hollywood start Boris Kudjo and The trial of Jesus. To date Melissa has written, produced, directed, and some time co-starred in a total of 23 plays. She also served in the dance, music, and sign language ministries. After returning to her home City of Baltimore, Melissa became a published author of the book “Life of a Church Girl”. Melissa continues to write and serve in the arts ministries throughout the country with the blessing of her husband and 6 children.
Martinique Smith is a 32 year old School Counselor from Roxboro, NC. She began dancing at the age of 5 and has been in love with it ever since. For 12 years she took dance at The Dancers’ Worshop in Roxboro, NC under the direction of Toni Noblett. Martinique trained in many genres of dance which included tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern and hip hop. Her motto is “dance like no one is watching.”
As a senior in high school Martinique became the first African American to win Roxboro’s Jr. Miss in the 36 years of the program’s existence. Martinique has taken classes from amazing dancers such as Savion Glover, Jacques d’Amboise, Barbara Duffy, Casey Noblett and Cassidy Noblett. Martinique had the opportunity of dancing at Governor’s School West, the summer before her junior year in high school and danced with the Opeyo Modern group at UNC-CH.
Upon graduation from high school, Martinique was asked to come back to her childhood dance studio and teach, then known as All Dancers’ Workshop under the direction of Terri Palmer. Martinique’s goal is that her passion for dance is exuded from every fiber of her body when she hits the stage. Martinique currently coaches cheerleading at Northern Middle School in Roxboro, NC and is the Miriam Dance leader at Kingdom Community International in Bahama, NC. Martinique is married to Brandon Smith and they have an amazing three year old boy, Brandon Jr.
Light and Sound Tech
Crystal Green… is a native of North Carolina, where she was born and raised. She is the wife of Leroy and the mother of three beautiful children, daughters Trinity, Kaylah and son Trevor. She attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received her B.A. in Mechanical Engineering. She began her engineering career at NIEHS in 2002 where she was the first African American/female Mechanical Engineer on the team.
Currently she is the business owner of Green Management Group, LLC which has birthed Spring Metro Grooming Lounge & Spa, Green Audio-Visual Engineers and Green Transportation Services. Her love for empowering others also has her working with Bull City Barber College in Durham, NC. She helps to educate and mentor up and coming barbers in the profession of the beauty industry.
Crystal has worked stage sound for Wade in the Water Productions on serval stage plays directed by Melissa Wade-Culter. Stage plays include “Sunday Morning,” “Wednesday Night Prayer Service,” “The Trial of Jesus,” and “Did You Crucify Jesus:” The Play. She has also worked stage lighting for the “Paneh Mime Conference” from 2014- 2017. Crystal is a Prophet in Training at Kingdom Community International in Bahama, NC, where she oversees Audio-Visual Ministry.
